Monroe County Jail routes personal mail through JailATM's central processing system. Your letter gets scanned there and made available to the inmate electronically - it won't arrive as a physical letter. Inmates can view it for a limited time at the facility.
Don't send personal letters directly to the jail. Since May 18, 2022, any personal mail sent to the facility gets returned to sender. That means delays and extra postage if you have to mail it again to the correct JailATM address.
