How Attorneys Create a Legal Mail Portal Account for Northpoint Training Center
To create a Legal Mail Portal account for Northpoint Training Center, go to https://lmp.vendengine.com/visitor_login.php?jail_id=2516 and click Create Account. No special software required - just a working internet connection. One heads-up: if you're using an older browser (especially Internet Explorer), the site may not display correctly. Internet Explorer 10 is the minimum, but Chrome, Firefox, or Edge will give you fewer headaches.
On the registration page, fill in all required fields and create your password. The password must be at least 8 characters long with at least one lowercase letter and at least one number. If yours doesn't meet those rules, the system won't let you proceed until you fix it.
You'll need to upload proof of licensure in good standing from your Bar Association. The portal accepts image files or PDFs. Make sure the document clearly shows your good standing status - unclear or incomplete uploads are a common reason applications get kicked back.
Phone verification is required. In your account, click the Verify Phone Number icon and verify via text message or automated call. You can use an office phone or cell phone - pick whichever you can access quickly to avoid delays.
After you submit your account, a Department of Corrections staff member reviews your request. If it's rejected, you'll get an email explaining why - update your submission and resubmit. If approved, you'll receive an email confirmation.
Once approved, your account status changes to verified and you're assigned a Mail ID Number. Don't be surprised if it starts with a letter - it won't be all digits.
