Northpoint's Dress Code: What to Wear (and What Will Get You Turned Away)

Northpoint Training Center can turn you away if your clothing doesn't meet the dress code. When in doubt, dress conservatively. It's not worth losing your visit at the door.

Northpoint enforces a dress code for safety and security reasons. The bottom line: show up in something that doesn't comply, and staff will turn you away. No exceptions, no second chances that day. If you're questioning whether something is too revealing or too tight, change before you leave home.

Leave the headwear at home. Northpoint prohibits all head coverings: hats, caps, bandanas, scarves, hoods. Religious head coverings are the one exception, though staff may search them during check-in.

Note: Religious head coverings are allowed, but expect that staff may need to search them as part of entry screening.

  1. Choose a conservative baseline outfit (think regular street clothes you would wear to a courthouse or office).
  2. Avoid borderline items like ultra-tight fits, sheer fabrics, or anything that could be read as revealing.
  3. Pack a simple backup layer such as a plain long-sleeve shirt or lightweight sweater in case you need more coverage.
  4. Do a quick standing check in the mirror for skirt, dress, or short length before you leave.
  5. Skip hats and hoods entirely and leave them in the car so you are not scrambling at the entrance.
