Denied at the door: Anyone showing signs, symptoms, or the odor of alcohol, marijuana, or other drugs will be denied visitation. You can also be turned away for inappropriate attire such as pants with holes, hoodies, obviously revealing shirts, spaghetti-strap shirts, or shorts above the fingertips (with arms straight down).
First time visiting? Look for the "Public Safety Complex" sign. The visitation lobby entrance is directly below it - that's where you'll check in.
Visits are first-come, first-served. Arriving early does more than protect you from the 15-minute cutoff - it also helps you avoid getting squeezed out when a rush of visitors shows up.
