What Attorneys and Professionals Need to Know About Visiting Oneida County Jail
Professional visits at Oneida County Jail run on a different track than regular family visitation. If you’re an attorney or other authorized professional, here’s how the hours work, when you’ll be turned away for count, and who to call before you drive out.
Attorneys, social workers, law enforcement, and other authorized professionals can visit seven days a week, from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Count blackout: Professional visits are not held during the facility count period from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Even for professional visits, expect to show appropriate identification. For example, clergy visits are available upon request, and clergy must present credentials and proper identification. Clergy visit time also does not count toward the inmate’s regular visiting time for the week.
