Deadlines Processing
- ✓ Make sure any required supporting documents are received within 30 days of your application date.
- ✓ If a background-check fee applies to your situation, that payment also has to be received within 30 days.
- ✓ If the applicable fees and/or required supporting documents aren’t received within 30 days, the application is considered incomplete and won’t be processed.
Once the department receives everything - your documentation and payment (if applicable) - allow up to 60 days for processing. That wait can feel long, but it's the standard timeline for review.
