What Can Be Scanned for an Arizona Inmate (and What Must Go to Phoenix)

Quick Checklist

• ✓ Written correspondence (letters) - accepted for scanning and upload to the inmate’s tablet

• ✓ Greeting cards - accepted for scanning and upload to the inmate’s tablet
• ✓ Drawings - accepted for scanning and upload to the inmate’s tablet
• ✓ Photos - accepted for scanning and upload to the inmate’s tablet

Not everything goes through the scanning system. Legal mail and publications are both excluded - they won't be accepted for digital processing. Send these directly to the centralized Phoenix address instead.

Packages can't go through the digital mail center. Send them to the centralized Phoenix location: 801 E Jefferson Street, Phoenix, AZ 85034.

1. Write the inmate’s full first and last name - use the name ADCRR has on file.
2. Include the ADCRR number - leaving it off can get your mail sent back.
3. Use the correct address for what you’re sending - items that must go to Phoenix should be addressed to 801 E Jefferson Street, Phoenix, AZ 85034.
4. Double-check the envelope before you send it - if the inmate number, full name, and correct address aren’t on the envelope, the mail will be returned to the sender.
