Pima County Jail offers video-only visitation through remote sessions or on-site kiosks. Non-privileged visits may be monitored and recorded. Each inmate gets one free 30-minute on-site visit per week. Additional 30-minute on-site sessions cost $9 per inmate per day, while remote visits run 15 minutes at $0.25 per minute. Pima County Jail processes incoming mail Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. All personal mail—incoming and outgoing—must go through U.S. Mail and is subject to search. Staff won't read it unless it's part of an investigation. Postcards can't be larger than 4.25 inches by 6 inches. They'll be rejected if defaced, wrapped in plastic, or if they include glitter, nudity, sexual content, weapons, or gang references. Incoming postcards get copied (digitally or photocopied), and the inmate receives the copy via tablet or on paper—not the original. Packages require prior permission at least five days before sending, and items sold through commissary can't be received.
