How to Schedule Your First Video Visit at Pima County Jail

Pima County Jail does all visitation by video - no in-person, face-to-face visits. You can use an on-site kiosk at the jail or connect remotely from home.

You'll need a GettingOut account to receive video visits. Planning to visit from your phone or tablet? Download the GettingOut Visits app (available on Android and iOS). Schedule your visit online at pimacountyaz.gtlvisitme.com or at the kiosk in the main entrance lobby.

For on-site visits, you must schedule one to seven days in advance - the jail no longer accepts same-day walk-ins. Appointments fill up first-come, first-serve, so book early to get the time slot you want.

Video visitation runs Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday through Sunday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The jail closes for Federal Holidays, so expect fewer slots around those dates.

Check in at the Main Jail Front Desk: 1270 W. Silverlake Road, Tucson, AZ 85713. Arrive 15 minutes early - visits start and end at the scheduled times, and showing up late can cost you the visit. The main phone number for the detention complex is (520) 351-8111.

• ✓ Bring a valid photo ID for check-in.
• ✓ Keep your group to no more than 4 visitors at a time.
• ✓ If you’re bringing juveniles, make sure at least one adult is with them.
• ✓ Don’t leave children unattended - children must be controlled and supervised the entire time.
