Lucile Plane State Jail uses the TDCJ Online Visitation Scheduler. You'll need to create your own account—TDCJ staff can't do it for you, though they can help update your information after you register. Use a valid email address. After submitting, you'll receive an email with a 7-digit validation code and a link to finish setup by re-entering your email, entering the code, and creating a compliant password. Choose carefully: once created, your account can't be deleted and the email address can't be changed. If you get locked out, use the Forgot Password/Reset Password link. Complete every question in the Background Questionnaire, and enter phone numbers with spaces as "XXX XXX XXXX." To schedule a visit, click Add Inmate, search by TDCJ number or 8-digit SID, and request approval with your relationship. Then pick a visit type—Regular, Contact, Non-Contact, or Video/Tablet (this is separate from Securus)—and use Review Available Times to see open slots.

Since September 6, 2023, TDCJ routes incoming personal mail through a centralized digital platform. Letters, greeting cards, and photos for someone at Lucile Plane State Jail should be mailed to the Digital Mail Processing Center, where they're scanned and delivered electronically. Don't send cash or personal checks. They aren't accepted and will be returned, delaying your loved one's access to funds.
