How to put money on an inmate's account at Pulaski County Detention
Want to help someone at Pulaski County Detention with commissary funds? You've got three options: the lobby kiosk, dropping off a money order, or depositing online through iCare.
You can add money to an inmate's account a few different ways. The lobby kiosk accepts cash or credit card if you're visiting in person. Prefer to drop off a money order? There's a weekday window for that. Or skip the trip entirely and use iCare to deposit online.
Planning to drop off a money order? Timing matters. The facility accepts them Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- ✓ Inmate’s name
- ✓ Book-in number
- ✓ S.O. number
- ✓ Unit
- ✓ Date
Note: When you’re leaving a money order, don’t bring cash or other items to include - only the money order will be accepted.
If you’re depositing funds at the facility, the lobby kiosk accepts both cash and credit cards. This is often the simplest option when you need to add money quickly and you’re already on-site.
Pulaski County Detention uses iCare for online deposits. Not sure what information you'll need or which account you're funding? Check the detention center's commissary page or call ahead before submitting anything.
Tips and Best Practices
- ✓ Double-check the slip before you hand over a money order: inmate name, book-in number, S.O. number, unit, and date all need to be filled in
- ✓ Use the correct identifiers (especially the book-in number and S.O. number) so funds don’t get delayed or misapplied
- ✓ Only go for money order drop-off Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- ✓ Don’t try to leave cash or any other items with a money order - those won’t be accepted
- ✓ Keep your receipt or any proof of purchase for your records in case you need to follow up
