Before you make the trip, confirm you're actually approved to visit. Quehanna requires every visitor — including minors — to be on the inmate's approved facility visiting list and approved in the DOC Inmate Visitation System. Not sure if you or your child is cleared? Adults need one photo ID that shows your current home address and date of birth (for example, a driver’s license). Minors must have a school photo ID or an original/certified birth certificate plus a Social Security card; without proper ID, the visit won’t be allowed.
Gifts aren't allowed, and inmates can't take anything from the visiting area. Leave behind cell phones, cameras, recorders, radios, drugs, alcohol, weapons, food, cash, sunglasses, wallets, tobacco products, vapes, lighters, and gum. Baby items are limited to specific quantities of unopened baby food containers, clear plastic bottles, diapers, and individually pre-packaged items.
