The Hinds County Sheriff’s Office offers an electronic messaging route for Hinds County Detention Center through NCIC.com. You can create an account there to use the inmate messaging system. Messages and attachments sent through this system are electronic submissions, separate from physical mail.
You can send personal messages, photos and document images. To send a document image, you can take a picture of the document and attach it to a message.
The county’s stated prices are $0.25 per message and $0.35 each for picture messages or documents.
The county places no limit on how many messages and photos you can send.
