A smooth visit at Redgranite starts in the parking lot. Here's how parking works, when you can enter the lobby, and the vehicle rules that catch people off guard.

When you arrive at RGCI, park in any open, unreserved spot in the lot. If a space is marked or reserved, skip it and find another one.

Accessible (handicapped) parking spaces are at the front of the lot, closest to the front doors. That keeps the walk to the entrance as short as possible.

RGCI doesn't let visitors into the lobby until ten (10) minutes before visiting hours begin. Keep that in mind when planning your drive, especially if you tend to show up early.

No waiting in the car: No one (including pets) is allowed to stay in a vehicle while the visit takes place.

Vehicle Security General

  • Lock your vehicle while it is parked in the RGCI lot
  • Roll all windows up while your vehicle is parked

Warning: Drugs, tobacco, alcohol, cell phones, and weapons are not permitted inside the institution. Attempting to bring any of these in can result in felony prosecution.

  1. Secure your firearm before you exit. If you have a license to carry a concealed firearm, place the firearm in the locked trunk of your personal vehicle, or in a locked compartment, before getting out in the parking lot.
  2. Lock the vehicle after exiting. Make sure the car is locked once you are out.
