What to Wear (and What NOT to Wear) When Visiting RMC Work Camp
RMC Work Camp enforces its dress code at the door. Show up wearing something that's not allowed, and you'll be turned away — even if you're otherwise approved to visit.
The basics are simple: wear a shirt, wear shoes. These aren't suggestions. Staff check at the entrance, and you won't get into the visiting area without both.
Note: If you arrive without a shirt or without shoes, you can be turned away at the entrance.
Certain footwear is banned. Heelys aren't allowed, and neither are shoes with removable parts. If your footwear has detachable pieces of any kind, leave them at home and wear a plain, standard pair instead.
Skip the camouflage. RMC Work Camp bans military-style camo patterns - jungle (green), urban (grey/black), and desert (tan/brown). If there's any chance your outfit looks like camo, even as a fashion print, pick something else.
Reminder: Dress rules are enforced at the door. If your outfit doesn’t meet the facility’s visitor requirements, staff can deny the visit.
Clothing is only part of the equation. Anyone 16 or older needs a valid photo ID to enter the visiting area. But even with proper ID, you can still be turned away for wearing prohibited footwear or camouflage.
