How to Schedule a Video Visit with Someone at SCI Rockview

SCI Rockview participates in the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections (PA DOC) visitation program, which includes both in-person visits and video visits. If you’re trying to see someone by video, you’ll schedule and join that visit through the state’s system rather than arranging it informally.

You'll schedule and join video visits through the PA DOC Inmate Visitation System (IVS). IVS uses Keystone Login to verify your identity, so you'll need to create a Keystone Login account first. If you haven't set one up yet, follow the DOC's Visitor Guide for step-by-step instructions, then return to IVS once your account is ready.

1. Log in to IVS using your Keystone Login - IVS uses Keystone Login to verify your identity, so you’ll need to sign in that way before you can schedule or join a visit.
2. Find the person you want to visit and pick a video visit time - select the incarcerated person in IVS, then choose an available video visit slot and complete the scheduling steps in the system.
3. Use the visit link at visit time - when it’s time to join, click the video visit URL from your confirmation email or from IVS. It will open Zoom, where the Meeting ID fills in automatically, but you still need to enter your name or email address to join the visit.

Professional visitors follow a different process. Call SCI Rockview and speak with the Superintendent's Assistant (or leave a message) to get added to IVS - this is required for your first professional video visit - and to coordinate the visit time. Once scheduled, you'll receive a confirmation email with the link to connect and a connection guide.

Where to Find Url Confirmation

• ✓ Save the automated confirmation email you receive after you schedule - it includes the video visit URL.
• ✓ If you can’t find the email, log into your IVS visitor account and check your “upcoming visits,” where the URL is also listed.
