How to Get Notified When an Inmate Is Released (VINE & Victim Services in Kentucky)

VINE is a free service for checking an offender's custody status and protective order status. You can access it by phone, on a website, or through a mobile app (where available). Rather than checking manually, you can register for automated notifications whenever a status changes.

To look up Kentucky offender information through VINE, head to VINELink.com. That's the main portal for searching the person you're tracking and managing your notification preferences.

  1. Register online: Go to VINELink.com to search for the offender and set up notifications.
  2. Register by phone: Call 1-800-511-1670 to sign up for VINE notifications.
  3. Use TTY if needed: If you use TTY, call 1-866-847-1298 to access VINE.

Tip: VINE is free. Use the phone, website, or app option that’s easiest for you to check custody and protective order status and to set up notifications.
