How to Visit Someone at Ross-Cash Center (KY): Schedule, Arrival, and What to Bring

Visitation happens on Saturday or Sunday, but the facility rotates monthly between the WKCC Compound (male population) and Ross-Cash Center (female population). The location can shift month to month - double-check which side is scheduled before you go.

For visitors seeing someone in Meritorious Housing or scheduled for Ross-Cash visitation, hours run 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Plan for an early morning - this facility gets moving at dawn.

Non-meritorious housing has a shorter window: 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Same start time, earlier cutoff - arriving on time matters even more here.

Doors don't open whenever you show up. Visitors can enter starting 30 minutes before 7:00 a.m. - so 6:30 a.m. is the earliest you'll get inside.

There's a hard cutoff: no visitors will be processed after 9:00 a.m. Show up late, and you may be turned away even if visiting hours are still running. Treat 9:00 a.m. as your absolute latest check-in time.

No appointment needed at Ross-Cash Center. It's walk-in, so plan around the morning entry window and arrive early enough to clear processing before 9:00 a.m.

Each inmate can have two adult visitors at a time. Bringing a larger group? You'll need to rotate so only two adults are visiting at once.
