What to Wear When Visiting Ross-Cash Center (KY): Complete Dress Code Checklist

The baseline rule at Ross-Cash Center is straightforward: dress modestly. Anything too revealing or attention-grabbing can get you turned away at the door.

Everything needs to stay covered - before, during, and after you sit down. Wear appropriate undergarments, and make sure they're not visible. Your shirt should fully cover your shoulders, cleavage, and midriff. Pick something that won't shift or gap when you move.

  • Wear footwear - shoes or sandals are required; bare feet aren’t allowed.

The facility specifically bans clothing that's provocative, revealing, see-through, or excessively tight. If you're second-guessing an outfit, swap it out before you leave. Better to change at home than get turned away at check-in.

  • Tank tops, halter tops, tube tops, or any sleeveless shirts
  • Spandex, leggings, or yoga pants when worn as the outermost garment
  • Shorts, dresses, or skirts that are more than 2 inches above the knee when standing

Hats, caps, bandanas, scarves, and hoods aren't allowed - leave them at home. Religious head coverings are the one exception. They're permitted but will be searched as part of normal security screening.

Personal Property

  • Identification card
  • Vehicle keys
  • Prescription glasses

Note: Most jewelry is restricted, so don’t plan on wearing or bringing it in unless it falls under a narrow exception (like certain medical alert items).
