Your first visit goes a lot smoother when you know what the facility expects at the door and what needs to stay in your car. Here's a quick, practical run-through of arriving, checking in, and getting through screening at Saguaro.

Arriving Parking

  • βœ“ Go to 1250 E Arica Rd., Eloy, Arizona 85131.
  • βœ“ Park in the facility parking area.
  • βœ“ Lock your vehicle before you head inside.

Accessible parking is available in designated areas if you need it.

Checkin ID

  1. Remove your shoes and belt - You will need to take them off as part of entry screening.
  2. Clear the metal detector - You must pass through and be cleared before you can enter the visitation area.
  3. Enter the visitation area - Once you clear screening, you can proceed into visitation.

Heads up: Saguaro conducts random vehicle searches. If you refuse a search, you won't be allowed on facility grounds.

Leave cash secured elsewhere. Cash is not allowed in the visitation area.

Visiting with a baby? Saguaro provides diapers and wipes. Before entering the visitation room, you'll need to change your baby using the facility-provided diaper.

The visitation area has vending machines, but they only accept debit or credit cards. Cash isn't allowed in the visitation area, so leave it behind and bring a card instead.
