How to Send Money to Someone at Saguaro: Lockbox vs. Western Union / Send2Corrections
When sending money by lockbox mail, addressing matters. Use the person's last name, first name, and commissary number on the address line. The commissary number is a 6–7 digit number - not an "A" number. Double-check you have the right ID before mailing.
Mail lockbox payments to: CORECIVIC Facility: Suaro P.O. Box 16545 Atlanta, GA 30321-0545
Send a cashier's check or money order. Make it payable to CORECIVIC, or to the incarcerated person using their last name, first name, and commissary number.
Going with Western Union / Send2Corrections instead? Have the details ready before you start: the recipient's commissary number, first name, and last name.
Hyphenated names: Use only the first part of a hyphenated last name for Western Union / Send2Corrections.
Paying online or through the Send2Corrections app? You'll need a credit or debit card to complete the transaction.
- Set up the transfer online or in the app - enter the recipient’s first and last name and commissary number.
- Choose the pay-later, in-person option - this sets you up to pay at a Western Union agent location instead of paying online.
- Get your tracking number (MTCN) - the system generates an MTCN so the in-person payment can be matched to your transfer.
- Pay in cash at a Western Union agent location using the MTCN - bring the MTCN with you and pay the amount in cash.
