How to Send Money for Commissary (what families can use and how to format payments)

Idaho DOC accepts money orders and cashier's checks for commissary deposits. Don't send cash or personal checks. Make the payment payable to the resident and include their IDOC number so it gets credited to the right account. A format that works: Pay to the order of: Resident First Last. Memo or notes line: IDOC #123456.

To send money online, IDOC directs families to Access Corrections. Start there for current deposit options and step-by-step instructions.

Commissary goods inside Idaho DOC facilities come through Keefe Commissary Network. This determines what items are available and how weekly ordering works for residents.
