Sending a Care Package to Scioto County Jail: Using Access Securepak (and why you can’t drop items off)

Scioto County Jail doesn't accept items from the public. Staff won't take a bag of clothes, food, or hygiene products from the lobby and pass it to an inmate - no exceptions. If you want to get someone extra supplies, you'll need to go through the approved vendor.

The jail uses Access Securepak for care packages. You order online through their site, and they handle getting the package to your person inside.

• ✓ View the agency’s product menu
• ✓ Place your order for a package

1. Create an account - Start by setting up your Access Securepak account so you can shop and place an order.
2. Select the right location/program - Use the locator fields to choose the correct state and Securepak program for Scioto County Jail before you start shopping.
3. Open the agency product menu - Once you’re in the right program, you’ll be able to view that agency’s available items.
4. Shop the menu and build your order - Choose the items you want to send and review your cart before checkout.
5. Place the order - Complete checkout to submit the care package order online.
6. Save your confirmation details for tracking - After you submit, keep the confirmation number you receive so you can use the “Track Your Order” feature (you may also be able to track using an inmate number).
