Before any visit at Sheboygan County Detention Center, every visitor must register with Securus. Each adult needs their own individual registration, even for on-site visits. Remote visitation is available every day in three windows: 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM, 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM, and 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM. On-site visitation is more limited: Monday and Thursday 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Wednesday 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM. All visits are recorded and electronically monitored, though approved attorneys and other professionals are exempt from recording. Phone time works differently: the inmate requests it through the bookkeeper. Rates are $10 for 20 minutes and $20 for 40 minutes, with purchases issued on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Three-way calls are strictly prohibited, and attempting one can lead to disciplinary action. Both phone and video services run through third-party vendors, so you'll typically need a vendor account and may need to schedule sessions or purchase credits through the vendor platform. All communications are monitored or screened. Attorney communications follow separate verification procedures under facility or vendor rules.

Depositing money at Sheboygan County Detention Center is straightforward once you know the options. For walk-in cash deposits, use the KIOSK in the Detention Center entrance at 2923 S 31st St in Sheboygan. If you're mailing funds, only money orders and cashier's checks are accepted (no personal checks), and the amount cannot exceed $500. Deposits go into the inmate's account for commissary purchases and approved charges. Keep in mind that outstanding debts may be deducted before the balance is available to spend. The facility also charges small medical service fees that come directly out of the canteen account: $5.00 for a nurse sick call (Monday to Friday) and $7.00 for an MD sick call (once per week).
