Keep jewelry simple. You're allowed one watch (no smart watches), one bracelet, two rings (including a wedding ring), one necklace, one pair of earrings, and any piercings that can't be removed. Smart watches count as prohibited electronic devices - leave them behind.
What you wear matters. All adult visitors must dress appropriately for a prison environment, or the visit won't happen. Skip anything that suggests gang affiliation or illegal activity. Sexually explicit, offensive, or degrading clothing will get you turned away at the door.
Reminder: Staff can turn you away for inappropriate clothing. When in doubt, go conservative.
Visiting with a baby or toddler? The same "pack light" rule applies. Bags and packages aren't allowed in the Visiting Room, so bring only essentials and stash anything extra in the Visiting Center lockers.
