SCI Pine Grove

SCI Pine Grove offers both in-person and video visitation, but all visits must be scheduled in advance within the facility's scheduling windows. You'll need to be on the inmate's authorized visitors list and follow IVS account rules for adults and minors. In-person visits allow up to four authorized visitors, while video visits allow up to six. General population inmates may face monthly caps (up to six video visits and four in-person visits per month), depending on operational needs. If a child is participating, a DC-313 form must be present, and minors should be added under a parent or guardian's IVS account. Expect searches and metal detector screening for both visitors and vehicles. There is no public waiting area on DOC grounds. All non-attorney video visits at SCI Pine Grove are audio and video recorded and may be reviewed. Attorney video visits are exempt from recording. You can join up to five minutes before the scheduled start time, giving you a buffer to get connected. The IVS link opens Zoom and auto-fills the Meeting ID, but you still need to enter your name or email to join. Inmates can also place telephone calls under the North American Calling Plan. Sending money to someone at SCI Pine Grove can be confusing because the facility's own documents contradict each other. The inmate handbook states that cash, money orders, and personal checks are not accepted and will be returned to the sender. A separate JPay payment form, though, lists a per money order maximum of $999.99 for deposits through that vendor. Because those statements conflict, confirm the current rules before you mail any funds or buy a money order. Generally, families add funds through approved online or phone services, lobby kiosks, or mailed deposits when allowed.
