Call between Tuesday and Friday, 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm to book your visit. Visits happen on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday and last 30 minutes each. Have a couple of preferred time slots in mind - it makes the scheduling call faster.

Call to schedule: (707) 565-1400 (Tuesday–Friday, 3:00 pm–9:00 pm).

The jail doesn't allow same-day sign-ups. If you want to visit on Saturday, Sunday, or Monday, call earlier in the week to lock in your spot.

Appointments are first-come, first-served, so call early in the booking window for the best selection. Keep in mind that each incarcerated person can only have one visit per visitation day - if their slot is already booked, you'll need to try a different day.

What to Have Ready

  • The incarcerated person’s booking number
  • The names of the visitors who will attend (up to two people total)
  • A reminder that personal visits are limited to a maximum of two visitors per visit

Before you call, pick your preferred day - Saturday, Sunday, or Monday - and have a backup or two ready. Flexibility helps, since your first choice might already be taken.

Two eligibility rules could affect your visit. If you're a convicted felon, you need prior written approval from the Facility Manager (or their designee) - pick up the form at the facility front counter. And if you were recently released from the Detention Division, you must wait 30 days before visiting, unless you're visiting your spouse.

  1. Call during the scheduling window - Personal visits are scheduled by phone only, Tuesday–Friday from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
  2. Call early and be ready to book - Appointments are first-come, first-served, so earlier calls typically have more options.
  3. Offer backup days - Personal visitation days are Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, so have more than one day in mind when you request a slot.

If you're coordinating through an approved program provider rather than scheduling a personal visit, the jail does allow module visitation on the secure side. Access is restricted during lockdowns and non-visitation hours, so this isn't a workaround for personal visits - but it's worth knowing if it applies to your situation.

Warning: You must give 24-hour notice to cancel a visit appointment. Missed appointments may result in suspension of visiting privileges.

On visit day, check in at the lobby at least 20 minutes before your scheduled time. Show up late and you may lose your slot.
