What You Can and Can't Bring to Visitation at Southeastern Correctional Complex (Checklist)

Anyone 16 or older needs a valid picture ID to enter the visiting area. No ID, no visit - it's that simple. Double-check yours before you leave home.

  • One (1) vehicle key
  • No keyless entry devices unless the duty warden (or designee) visually inspects the device and approves it

You can bring a limited amount of feminine hygiene products, but keep it minimal. Too much may cause issues at entry.

Bring up to $50 in cash for vending machines. Stick to $1, $5, $10, and $20 bills - other denominations aren't accepted.

No exceptions: Under no circumstances may visitors give money to an inmate.

Baby Items

  • Diapers: no more than five (5)
  • Clear baby bottles: up to three (3)
  • Toddler sipper cups: up to two (2)
  • Sealed (unopened) baby food: up to three (3) clear plastic jars

Taking prescription medication? Bring only what you'll need during your visit. Leave extra doses at home.

Medication must be in its original container with a readable label showing the medication type, dosage, and the name of the person it was prescribed to.

Needles/syringes: Don't bring these onto facility property or leave them on the grounds. If you need an injection, you'll have to leave the institution, take care of it off-site, and return afterward.

Prohibited Items

  • Needles or syringes (do not bring them in or leave them anywhere on facility grounds)
  • Cash or funds intended to be handed to an inmate (money may not be given to an inmate under any circumstances)
