How to Get Approved to Visit Someone at Southeastern Correctional Facility (Ohio)
Getting approved to visit starts with paperwork. Once your application clears and you're approved, you'll register online to reserve your visit.
To visit someone at Southeastern Correctional Facility, you'll need to complete three Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction forms: the Visiting Application (DRC2096), the Declaration of Understanding (DRC2554), and the General Visiting Instructions (DRC2274). Fill everything out, sign where required, then submit. You can mail the packet, email it, fax it, or drop it off in person - whatever works best for you.
Include a legible copy of your photo ID with your application. If the copy is blurry or cut off, it can delay processing. Make sure your name and photo are clearly visible.
Approval gets you on the list, but it's not a free pass. Every time you visit, you'll need to register at check-in and show valid "bona fide" identification.
On probation or parole? You'll need a letter from your probation/parole officer granting permission to visit. The adult visitor application asks about this directly - if you answer "yes," the letter is required.
