Mailing Letters and Photos to Taylor County Detention: What You Can Send
If you’re sending a letter or photos to someone at Taylor County Detention, sticking to the jail’s mail rules helps your envelope get accepted instead of returned.
Staff at Taylor County Detention read and inspect all incoming mail. Privileged mail (like correspondence with attorneys) is handled separately from regular personal letters.
Address your envelope with the inmate’s full name and use the detention center’s mailing address exactly like this: Inmate’s Name Taylor County Detention Center 120 S Central Ave Campbellsville, KY 42718
Paper limit: A maximum of three sheets of paper are allowed per envelope.
If you’re mailing photos, keep them small. Taylor County Detention accepts photographs that are 4" x 6" or smaller.
There’s also a limit on how many loose photos an inmate can keep. An inmate may possess up to 10 photos; if they have more than that, a photo album is required.
