What to Bring (and What to Leave Home) When Visiting David Wade Correctional Center
David Wade Correctional Center keeps a tight list of what you can carry into the Visiting Room. Pack light and only bring what the facility specifically allows.
S2
- ✓ Picture ID
- ✓ One car key or one keyless device
- ✓ Change in a see-through bag or a small plastic container
ID required (age 15+): If you are 15 or older, you must present picture identification to visit at DWCC.
S3
- ✓ One diaper (enough for one diaper change)
- ✓ One baby bottle or child’s cup
- ✓ One pacifier
- ✓ Baby wipes (pack only what you need for one diaper change)
- ✓ Pack these baby items in a see-through bag
Minors must be accompanied: Anyone under 18 must be with a parent or guardian to visit at DWCC.
Want to buy food during your visit? DWCC lets you bring one credit card or one debit card into the Visiting Room for that purpose. No cash, and no extra cards.
- Put your picture ID at the top of your stack. If you are 15 or older, you must have picture identification.
- Limit your carry-in items to the approved list. Bring only your picture ID, one car key or keyless device, and change.
- Pack change correctly. Keep coins in a see-through bag or a small plastic container so you are ready for Visiting Room rules.
Visiting days and hours: DWCC holds regular visits Thursday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Heads up: no incoming visitors are admitted between 11:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., and no visits start after 3:00 p.m.
