Three Forks Regional Jail: Exact Visiting Days, Times, and the 15‑Minute Limit
Visiting someone at Three Forks Regional Jail is straightforward once you know the schedule. The biggest thing that catches people off guard: visits are only 15 minutes. Here's everything you need to plan your trip and make the most of your time.
Male on-site visitation runs Wednesdays and Saturdays, 7:00 am to 2:30 pm.
Female on-site visitation runs Thursdays and Sundays, 7:00 am to 2:30 pm.
Segregation visitation is Tuesdays only, 7:00 am to 11:00 am. That's a shorter window than general visitation, so plan accordingly if your loved one is housed in segregation.
Each inmate gets one 15-minute visit per visitation day. That's it. Come prepared with what you want to talk about, because the time goes fast.
- ✓ Limit of 2 visitors (children do not count toward this limit) in the on-site visitation booth
- ✓ Anyone under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult before entering the on-site visitation booth
- ✓ No food or drink in the on-site visitation booth
- ✓ No cell phones or cameras in the on-site visitation booth
- ✓ Conversations and visits may be recorded
Note: Court orders (including no contact orders, restraining orders, and protection orders) are enforced during visitation.
Bring a valid photo ID and sign in when you arrive. Give yourself extra time so check-in doesn't eat into your visit.
Tip: With only 15 minutes per visit, even a small delay matters. Arrive early enough to complete check-in before your session starts.
Visitation rules can change at the jail's discretion. Call ahead before making the trip to confirm the current schedule.
