How to Contact an Inmate at Facility

ToCI requires reservations for all visits. Show up without one, and you'll be turned away.

Visiting hours at ToCI can change without notice. Before you travel, call the institution to confirm the current hours so you do not arrive on the wrong day or at the wrong time.

Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (ODRC) facilities have an extra step: after your visitor application is approved, you must register with the GTL VisitMe portal before you can make a reservation.

1. Plan on making a reservation for every visit. ToCI requires reservations for all visits, so treat this as a required first step.
2. Reserve by phone. Call 419-726-7977, choose prompt 1, then use extension 62258.
3. Reserve by email if that’s easier. Send your reservation request to drc.visitationtoci@drc.ohio.gov.

1. Confirm you are an approved visitor. The GTL VisitMe registration step applies after your visitor application is approved.
2. Register with the GTL VisitMe portal. Registration is required before you can make a visit reservation.
