Sending Money to Tomoka via JPay Money Order — Step-by-Step
Sending money by JPay money order is straightforward, but small mistakes—a missing email address, an unreadable DC number—can delay everything. Follow these steps to get it right the first time.
Make the money order payable to JPay. If there's a memo line, write the incarcerated person's name and ID number there - it helps ensure the funds get credited to the right account.
Each money order has a $999.99 limit. Need to send more? Split the total across multiple money orders so each stays under the cap.
Complete Deposit Slip

- ✓ Your first and last name (person making payment)
- ✓ Your full mailing address (street/address, city, state, ZIP)
- ✓ Your email address (must be valid)
- ✓ Money order amount (must be within the allowed maximum)
- ✓ Recipient’s state
Note: JPay won't process money orders with incomplete or hard-to-read deposit slips. Double-check that your email and mailing address are legible - missing info can delay posting even within the standard processing window.
Include a copy of your ID with the money order. Acceptable forms: driver's license, state ID, or passport.

Once JPay receives your payment, approved money orders are processed within ten (10) business days. Weekends and holidays don't count, so add extra time if you're mailing close to a holiday.
