USP Florence holds visiting hours on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Video conference visits end 30 minutes before closing. Each visit allows up to four adults and six children at one time. Inmates may have up to ten approved friends or associates on their visiting list (immediate family members are counted separately). SMU inmates face stricter limits: a maximum of five visits per month, and non-general population video visits are generally capped at two hours when video equipment is available.
