Can Friends Visit Someone at USP McCreary? Understanding the 10‑Person Limit and Visitor Categories

1. Ask the inmate how they’re listing you - You can only visit if the inmate has put you on their visiting list and you’ve been cleared by the BOP, so start by confirming you’re being added and under what category.
2. Complete the BP-A0629 form - Fill out the BP-A0629 Visitor Information questionnaire and release form.
3. Return the form to the institution address for consideration - The form has to be sent back to the institution address listed on it so your request can be considered.
4. Wait for clearance before you travel - Don’t plan the trip until you’ve been cleared and approved to visit.
