Scheduling a Legal Visit at FCI II Victorville: email, days and last‑minute verification
Setting up an attorney visit at FCI II Victorville? The schedule and approval process are straightforward once you know what to expect. Here's what you need to know about legal visiting hours, the email to coordinate visits, and how on-site verification works for last-minute situations.
Legal visiting at FCI II Victorville runs Tuesday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This schedule is separate from regular visiting hours and applies when the facility is housing inmates for the U.S. Marshals Service.
Regular social visits happen Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. One key difference: social visits won't be processed before 8:30 a.m. or after 2:00 p.m. Show up late for a social visit and you might not get in, even though visiting hours technically extend to 3:00 p.m.

FCI II offers an "on-site verification" option for emergencies - when an attorney shows up without prior approval or isn't on the approved list. The Operations Lieutenant or Duty Officer can attempt to verify the attorney by checking a current bar card, state of licensure, and government-issued photo ID, then confirming good standing through online resources. This isn't a routine workaround. It's reserved for bona fide attorneys with pending litigation within 10 days.
For standard legal visits, attorneys need to prove good standing with a federal or state bar. A printout from the bar's website works, or you can complete form BP-A0241 (Visiting Attorney Statement). Submit this proof along with a written visit request to the inmate's Unit Manager by fax or mail, and wait for approval.
Note: On-site verification is designed for truly time-sensitive, pending-litigation situations (within 10 days). For most legal visits, plan ahead by providing proof of good standing and sending the written request to the Unit Manager for approval.
Planning to work on a case during your visit? FCI II allows inmates to bring legal materials into the Visiting Room for legal visits. Bureau policy (PS 1315.07) requires reasonable access to legal materials and time to prepare documents, so both visiting and paperwork access are treated as part of case preparation.
