USP Victorville, FCI Victorville I, and FCI Victorville II all offer visiting on Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays, and federal holidays. Hours run from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on those days, so plan your travel around that window.

Processing cutoff: Social visits will not be processed before 8:30 a.m. or after 2:00 p.m. Show up too late to be processed and you'll miss the visit entirely, even though visiting hours technically continue until 3:00 p.m.

The Satellite Camp (SCP) runs on a slightly different schedule. Visiting is available Saturdays, Sundays, and all federal holidays, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Note that Mondays are not included for the SCP.

If your loved one is at the Satellite Camp, outside visiting is authorized there. That can make the experience feel quite different, so keep it in mind when planning your day.

Posted visiting hours at the USP/FCI Victorville complex are 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., but social visits are only processed between 8:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Put simply, 2:00 p.m. is the last point in the day you can get checked in for a social visit. After that, staff stop processing incoming visitors even though the visiting room stays open until 3:00 p.m.

  • Arrive early enough to be processed within the 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. processing window.
  • Build in extra time for screening and check-in so you are not cutting it close to the 2:00 p.m. cutoff.
  • Do not plan to show up after 2:00 p.m. for a social visit, even though visiting hours run until 3:00 p.m.

Before you leave home, confirm the visiting schedule by phone. Victorville's visiting information specifically recommends calling before you depart, and provides an example number: 603-342-4000. A quick call can save you a long drive if something changed at the last minute.

Heads up: The Warden can restrict or cancel visiting at any time for safety and security reasons, including severe weather or other incidents that disrupt normal operations.

  1. Pick the right day: USP Victorville, FCI I, and FCI II visit days are Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and federal holidays, with hours from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  2. Aim for early check-in: Social visit processing stops after 2:00 p.m., so plan to arrive with time to be processed before that cutoff.
  3. Call before you drive: Confirm the schedule by phone before departing (the visiting page provides 603-342-4000 as an example number to call).
  4. Expect last-minute changes: Visiting can be restricted or canceled by the Warden due to severe weather or other incidents affecting normal operations.
