Visiting Days at Victorville (Why the USP/FCIs Have Monday Visiting and what’s different at the Satellite Camp)

At the Victorville complex, the USP, FCI I, and FCI II offer visiting on Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays, and all federal holidays. That Monday option is part of the local schedule here, so you’re not limited to weekends when you’re trying to coordinate time off work, childcare, or travel.

Visiting hours at the USP, FCI I, and FCI II run from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. But here's the catch: social visits won't be processed before 8:30 a.m. or after 2:00 p.m. Arrive outside that window and you could miss your visit entirely, even though the room is technically open until 3:00.

Reminder: To enter any institution in the Victorville complex, you must present a valid state or government photo ID.

That Monday visiting day is a big deal. It gives you a weekday option without waiting for a holiday. If weekends are packed or you work Saturdays and Sundays, Monday can mean the difference between visiting regularly and missing weeks at a time.

The Satellite Camp (SCP) runs on a different schedule. Visits are Saturdays, Sundays, and federal holidays only - 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. No Monday visits here.

Good to know: Outside visiting is authorized at the Satellite Camp. Families often notice this makes the visit feel different - more relaxed than the indoor visiting areas.
