How to Schedule and Join a ThrIVE Video Visit with Utah Corrections (Step-by-Step)

To schedule a ThrIVE video visit, email uspvisiting@utah.gov. For the quickest scheduling response, try uspscheduleavisit@utah.gov instead. Application questions should go to uspvisiting@utah.gov. If you'd rather talk to someone directly, call 801-522-7046. In your email, include enough detail for staff to match you to the right person and get back to you: the incarcerated person's name, any ID number you have, and your own name and contact info.

Before your first video visit, you must email a copy of your government-issued photo ID to the right visiting office. Send it to uspvisiting@utah.gov for Utah State Prison (Draper), or to cucfvisiting@utah.gov for Central Utah Correctional Facility (Gunnison).

• ✓ iPhone, iPad, or an Apple computer: use Safari (Chrome or Firefox is not supported on the iPhone)
• ✓ Android phone: use Chrome, Edge, or Firefox
• ✓ Personal computer (PC): use Chrome, Edge, or Firefox
• ✓ Chromebook: use Chrome, Edge, or Firefox
• ✓ Do not use Internet Explorer (it is not approved)

When it's time for your visit, open an approved browser on an approved device and go to https://thrive.connectedcorrections.com. On the login screen, enter the username and password you were given for the visit.

After logging in, you'll land in an online waiting room. Once the incarcerated person is ready, a red "Enter Visit" button will appear. Click it to start the call.

When your visit is over, end the call on your screen. If you see an option to log out or sign out, use it before you close the browser.

Cant Log in Invalid Credentials

• ✓ Re-type your login info exactly as provided, including capital letters
• ✓ If you see “Invalid Credentials,” double-check for extra spaces or small typos
• ✓ If the page will not load or things keep failing, switch to an approved browser and device (for example, Chrome, Edge, or Firefox on a PC, Android, or Chromebook, or Safari on an Apple device)
• ✓ Do not use Internet Explorer

Double-checked that you're entering the email and password exactly as listed (including capitals) and still getting "Invalid Credentials"? Call the DOC at 801-576-7051 or 801-576-7014 to request a replacement password.

Incarcerated individuals get 30 minutes of call time per day. The timer starts counting down as soon as the call begins. If it runs out, you'll need to schedule another visit on a different day.
