Before You Mail That Letter: Victoria County Jail's Envelope & Content Rules

Address your letter using the person's full name and CR number, followed by: Victoria County Jail, 101 N Glass Street, Victoria, Texas 77901. If either the name or CR number is missing or hard to read, your letter may not reach the right person.

• ✓ Any substance or item considered contraband or a threat to security

1. Read the return information - Since mail is screened, items can be returned to you after review.
2. Fix the addressing - Use the person’s full name and CR number, and address it to Victoria County Jail, 101 N Glass Street, Victoria, Texas 77901.
3. Rewrite the envelope if needed - Make sure both the mailing address and your return address are legible and on the same side.
4. Remove anything not accepted - Do not resend with printed pages, oversized cards, pop-ups, electronics, metal/rope materials, or anything considered contraband or a security threat.
5. Resend the corrected letter - Mail it again once the envelope and contents match the rules.
