Victoria County Jail — Visitation Schedule & Planning Checklist (by gender and last name)
Visiting at Victoria County Jail is scheduled by the inmate's gender and, in many cases, their last-name group. Use the quick schedule below to match your person to the right day and time so you don't make a wasted trip.
Male inmates with last names A through L visit on Monday mornings. The two time slots are 8:00 am and 10:00 am. If your person's last name falls in that A-L range, plan around one of these morning windows.
That same A-L group also has Monday afternoon slots at 1:30 pm and 3:30 pm. Helpful if a morning visit doesn't work for your schedule.
Male inmates with last names M through Z visit on Saturday mornings at 8:00 am and 10:00 am. If the inmate's last name starts with M or later, Saturday morning is one of the main windows to plan for.
The M-Z group also has Saturday afternoon slots at 1:30 pm and 3:30 pm. If afternoons work better for you, these are the times to target.
Female inmates with last names A through L visit on Thursday at 10:00 am and 10:45 am. Those are the only two slots for that group on that day.
Female inmates with last names M through Z visit on Thursday at 3:15 pm and 4:00 pm. If the inmate's last name falls in the M-Z range, those are the Thursday times to aim for.
Female inmates also have Sunday visitation. There are two distinct time blocks: 10:00 am and 10:45 am, plus 2:00 pm and 2:45 pm. Make sure you're matching the correct Sunday slot for the inmate you're visiting.
No visitation days: Victoria County Jail lists no visitation on Tuesday or Friday.
If the inmate is classified as "contract," the schedule is different. Contract-classified inmates visit on Wednesday at 9:00 am and 10:00 am, and on Saturday at 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm.
If the inmate is classified as a "trusty," skip the general gender and last-name schedule. Trusty-classified inmates visit on Wednesday at 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm, and on Sunday at 3:15 pm and 4:15 pm.
Clergy visits are scheduled Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. If you're coordinating with a faith leader, that's the listed window.
Church services for male inmates run Monday 8:00 pm to 8:45 pm, Tuesday 7:45 pm to 8:30 pm, Wednesday 7:30 pm to 8:15 pm, and Sunday 7:45 pm to 8:30 pm. These aren't general visitation slots, but they're useful to know when you're planning calls or other coordination.
Church services for female inmates are Wednesday 2:00 pm to 2:45 pm, Thursday 7:45 pm to 8:30 pm, and Sunday 7:45 pm to 8:45 pm. Like the male schedule, these are church service times and may affect how you plan your day.
