How to Get Automatic Alerts When Someone's Custody Status Changes: Setting Up VINE Notifications

Kentucky's VINE is a free service that lets you anonymously check an offender's custody status and protective order status. If you're watching for changes - a transfer, release, or other update - VINE saves you from calling the facility over and over.

You can also register for automatic notifications when custody or protective-order status changes. Pick how you want to hear about it: phone call, email, text, or in-app message. No more checking manually.

How to Get Automatic Alerts When Someone's Custody Status Changes: Setting Up VINE Notifications
  1. Call the VINE number - Dial 1-800-511-1670.
  2. Follow the prompts - Use the automated system to check custody/protective order status and register for notifications.

Prefer using a computer? Head to VINELink.com to search custody status and set up notifications. This option makes it easy to review your choices before you finalize everything.

You can handle everything from your phone too. Download the VINELink mobile app, register, and get notifications pushed directly to your device when custody status changes.
