How to Track a WKCC Inmate's Custody Status and Get Alerts with VINE

VINE (VINELink) is a free, confidential service that tracks an offender's custody status and protective order status in Kentucky - including people held at Western Kentucky Correctional Complex (WKCC). Check status updates anytime, or sign up for automated notifications by phone, email, text, or the mobile app. No more refreshing a website hoping for news.

How to Track a WKCC Inmate's Custody Status and Get Alerts with VINE

Use VINE however works best for you. Search on the VINELink website, call 1-800-511-1670, or use the TTY line at 1-866-847-1298 if you're hard of hearing. All three options let you look up information and register for notifications.

  • Use the VINELink website to look up custody/protective order status and register for alerts
  • Call 1-800-511-1670 to check status or set up notifications by phone
  • Use TTY at 1-866-847-1298 for the same status and registration options
  • Choose how you want alerts delivered: phone, email, text, or in-app messages

After you register, VINE sends automated alerts whenever there's a change in custody status or protective order status. Pick your preferred delivery method - phone calls, emails, texts, or in-app notifications - so updates reach you in the format you'll actually see.

Note: VINE is free and confidential. Once you're registered, alerts are automatic. Just make sure the contact method you choose - phone, email, text, or app - is one you actually check.
