How to Send Photos and Messages Through JailATM to Wood County Jail (file types, sizes, and messaging rules)

Messages to Wood County Jail go through JailATM, and you'll need a "Messaging Subscription" to use it. Without one, you can't fund your account or open "collect messages" if someone sends you one.

Heads up: When you enable your JailATM Messaging Subscription, $5.00 in credits is applied to your account.

JailATM accepts these image formats: BMP, GIF, JPEG, PNG, and TIFF. Got a photo in a different format? Convert it first, or the upload won't go through.

The maximum file size is 5120 KB. If your upload fails, try resizing the image or saving it at a lower quality.

Even if your photo meets JailATM's technical requirements, Wood County Jail may block images based on its own content rules. A rejection doesn't always mean the file was too big or the wrong format.

Messages expire 14 days after they're read. If there's anything important, save it somewhere else before it disappears.

Tip: JailATM says their site wasn’t designed for mobile devices, so you may run into issues on a phone or tablet. If something won’t upload or load correctly, try the same action from a computer.

Wood County Jail also offers video visitation through JailATM.com. If you're already logging in for messages, that's the same place to schedule a video visit.
