Find an Inmate at Allen County Jail, OH

Go to the Allen County Sheriff’s website and select “View Active Inmates” to open the public roster/inquiry page. Search using Name or a Subject/Booking Number, and use booking date ranges or the housing facility filters to narrow results. Complete any on-page verification prompts and review the booking entries returned.

Have the person’s first and last name at a minimum; a date of birth, age, or booking/inmate number can help you get a better match. If you know it, the housing facility or an approximate booking date can also help narrow results on the inquiry form.

Call the booking desk at 419-993-1407 for inmate status, bond information, or general prisoner inquiries.

Email records@acso-oh.us with the date/time, location, and report number when possible, or call the Records Bureau at 419-227-3535 to confirm details and arrange pickup. Records can be picked up in person Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm; hard copies are $0.04 per page, and mailed/faxed copies are $0.04 per page plus prepaid postage. Photographs can be emailed free or provided on CD for $10.

For a criminal arrest record request, you must provide a signed waiver, full name, date of birth, and social security number. For BCI/FBI background checks, the Records Bureau’s WebCheck form collects personal identifiers and requires certification; the WebCheck authorization/waiver is valid for one year. If you request an FBI check, the form may also ask for physical descriptors such as sex, race, height, weight, hair, and eye color.
