Mail & Letters

Before you mail a package to someone at Burlington County Correctional Facility, check Burlington County Department of Corrections' package restrictions. Effective May 1, 2021, only one package per person in custody may be mailed in each month. The limit applies across all senders, and additional packages are returned to the sender. Packages from Amazon Prime are not accepted under a restriction effective immediately. That restriction applies even when the package would be within the monthly allowance.

What identification do I need to bring for a child?

You must bring identification for each child. It should come from a state or governmental agency and clearly show the child’s name, address and date of birth. A birth certificate is required if the child has no other form of ID. Convenience-store or discount-store ID cards are not accepted, and the visit will be denied if questions about identity remain.
