How to Send Mail to Someone at Callaway County Jail (Postcard-only rules and appeals)

Callaway County Jail only accepts postcards for all incoming personal mail. This postcard-only policy has been in effect since 05/01/2021, so if you send a regular letter in an envelope, it won’t meet the jail’s incoming mail rules.

Legal mail is the one exception. Mark the envelope "Legal Mail" on the front and address it to an official who qualifies for confidential communication. Inside the jail, legal mail works differently: before sealing, the inmate must show a detention officer that the envelope contains no contraband.

Address inmate mail exactly like this: Inmate Name C/O Callaway County Jail PO BOX 817 Fulton, MO 65251
