Video Visits at Callaway County Jail: free kiosk visits vs paid remote video
Callaway County Jail offers two video visit options: a free weekly visit at an on-site kiosk, or paid remote visits from home. The main difference? Cost and convenience.
Callaway County Jail uses NCIC Inmate Communications for both inmate phone calls and video visitation. If you’re scheduling a video visit or setting up remote video, you’ll do it through the vendor’s site at ncic.com.
Want to avoid fees? The jail offers one free video visit per week at a kiosk in the Sheriff's Office lobby. It's a good option if you can get there in person.
The lobby kiosk is free, but you can't just walk in. Schedule at least 24 hours ahead through ncic.com before making the trip.
Remote video visits let you connect from home, but they come with a fee. You'll need to create an account on ncic.com to get started.
Scheduling tip: Inmates are locked in their cells around 11:00 PM–8:00 AM and 3:00 PM–4:30 PM with no phone or video access. Schedule your visit outside these windows.
