If you're having trouble getting a time slot online, the kiosk and phone support tend to be the quickest alternatives.
Plan to arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled visitation time so you can sign in. If you show up right at your start time, you may not have enough time to complete sign-in.
Bring a valid U.S. government-issued photo ID. Without one, you won't be allowed to sign in or visit.
One eligibility rule catches people off guard: if you were incarcerated at Comal County Jail within the past six months, you're not eligible for in-person visitation. Double-check this before you schedule so you don't waste a trip.
